How we check information
Our initial California research was checked on September 11, 2026. We distinguish provider-published information from direct confirmation. The directory is independent; a listing is not a quality endorsement.
Evidence labels
- Public-source checked: a provider or manufacturer publishes the information. Links appear on the location page.
- Directly confirmed: the center has explicitly confirmed the particular fact. No initial listing has this label.
- Needs confirmation: information is missing, ambiguous or conflicting. It does not mean the service is unavailable.
Consultation, prescription and referral
A center that does not require an outside prescription may still need its own clinician to evaluate you and order the scan. An onsite supervising physician does not necessarily provide a consultation.
The single-appointment filter requires explicit evidence that an outside referral and prescription are unnecessary, a physician consultation is available onsite, a clinician can order the scan if appropriate, and consultation, CCTA and ordering the intended AI analysis can be combined in one appointment. No complete pathway is confirmed in this initial dataset. AI report turnaround is separate.
Prices and appointments
Prices are published self-pay packages, not patient-specific quotes. We keep consultation prices separate from scan packages. Prices leave active price filters after their review deadline. Advertised same-day appointments are not live booking slots.
Scanners and AI
Manufacturer specifications describe a model, not necessarily the scanner assigned to your appointment. Plaque analysis, FFR-CT and image reconstruction are separate services. Conflicting claims remain visible for clarification.
Our coverage
The initial research supports 15 physical locations. Historical billing addresses are preserved separately while their current services are checked. California coverage is incomplete.
